I have had several different sets. This set by far is the absolute best! Sharpness is excellent. Light weight and they clean well. I got the white. The handles have not discolored. Great value

Extremely High Quality Knife Set & Knife Block

I’ve owned many good quality knife sets with wood blocks, but this is definitely top notch over all of them (even the expensive German ones I’ve owned). These are purportedly made in Japan and using Japanese style steel knife (designed in New York actually). The knives are all razor sharp, including the scissors. I prefer super sharp knives because I cook every day and need the versatility of sharp knives. The design looks beautiful, modern, and super high quality. I could tell when the package arrived that this wasn’t going to be an ordinary knife set - it is heavy, durable, and constructed very well. Even the wood knife block is something of quality to behold. The variety of knives is excellent and I love that it comes with meat scissors as well as a quality old fashioned sharpener to keep everything in perfect sharpness. The chrome and white color balance of the knives exhumes style, modernism, and quality. This would be an amazing gift for someone and is amazing for any chef no matter how expert. Definitely a very strong recommend from me considering value, price, design, and quality of what you’ll receive.
