These knives are super sharp and well-made.
They cut through any meat like it is butter. They clean very easily.

Beautiful, Elegant, Sharp. Some Knives a bit Light

We got these to replace our beloved, 20-year old Faberware set. I am no kitchen knife expert, so my review is based on a comparison between the two.

Overall, the seamless design between handle and blade is elegant and beautiful. It is also quite functional, though there is a bit of an adjustment you may have to make if you are moving from a traditional set like the Faberware (more on this below).

These knives are super sharp and, other than the serrated knives, sharpen up really nicely. I honestly don't think our other set ever was quite as sharp as this one was right out of the box.

The steak knives are the only ones that will take some adjustment for us. While they are physically longer than my Faberware set (as well as past sets I have owned), the handles feel shorter for some reason. I think it might be because they are so light.

The other knives -- bread knife, boning knife, chef knife, etc. -- are well-weighted and super sharp. I love this set.

Set comes with 15 Japanese high carbon stainless steel kitchen knives as well as kitchen shears, knife sharpener and a solid acacia wood block. The knives have steel handles that conform to your hand. Comes with chef knife, pairing knife, boning, serrated, etc knives as well as 6 piece steak knife set. Well make, sturdy and durable.

Amazing cut

My first impression of these knives was honestly not great. The handles are hallow and wider than my other knives... however, they still have a decent weight to them and feel comfortable in the hand. I have mainly use the steak knives and santoku knives so far and I will say they really are amazingly sharp... Hopefully I can manage to keep them this sharp with the included sharpener. For the price of these, it really seems like a great deal. A single one of my Wusthof Classic knives cost as much as this set, and I must say, these cut just as well for my needs.

My one concern is the thickness. Many are noticeable thicker than my Wusthof knives and generally not a big deal... but when I am making finer cuts I prefer a thinner blade. Not a huge deal for me, but it is noticeable, particularly for the santoku knife. Overall I love the set. The block is a nice, dark brown and the all steel construction of these knives look very modern.

Pretty Nice

This is a pretty nice knife set, but I feel like my existing knives (a bit cheaper) cut better. Also, I wish the stand was more vertical.. this one is longer and takes up more counter space.
